Vibe Coding
Vibe Coding at SuperComp 2026: a 3-hour, four-mission story campaign with any AI tool, ending in a streamed bot arena. Teams of 2–3 on their own laptops.
One three-hour story campaign built for AI-assisted coding: use any AI tool you like to fix, upgrade and build, then write a bot that fights others in a live-streamed arena.
Programming · Team of 1–3 · 10:00 AM–01:00 PM · 3 hrs · Rs 2,400 entry · Rs 30K prize
How it works
- Mission 1 · The Ruined Portal (40 min): A large, broken web app and twelve user complaints. Find and fix the bugs behind them; hidden tests score it (18 pts).
- Mission 2 · The Upgrade (40 min): Migrate the app to version 2 of a library that exists nowhere online: its docs are only on the event's own server, so your AI has to read them (22 pts).
- Mission 3 · The Game (30 min): Build a small browser game from a two-page spec and the provided assets: steer a courier, collect the relays, dodge the patrol drones (15 pts).
- Mission 4 · The Arena (70 min): Write a bot in Python or Node for an eight-player, last-one-standing arena with a shrinking safe zone. Bots play a league; the top eight meet in a streamed final (35 pts).
- Side quests: Three small extras open all round, graded automatically (10 pts).
Setup
- Your own laptops, up to three per team, with any AI tool and open internet
- Bring your own AI subscriptions: no credits or keys are provided
- Power and event Wi-Fi provided; a phone hotspot as backup is a good idea
- Each mission is a Git repo you push to; the last commit before 3:00 counts
Judging
- 100 points, 95 of them scored automatically by hidden tests and the arena.
- Three judges score the game's look, feel and story fit (5 points).
- Ties go to the higher arena rank, then the higher Mission 2 score.
- The leaderboard freezes at 2:30; arena points stay hidden until the stream.
